Blachten Art by Arold Blanchet
Thank you for visiting my shop. All photographs are custom made just for you, and carefully created after payment has been received.
Arold Blanchet was born in Montreal and completed his college studies in film in 1982. During the summer, he began a photographic journey that will take him from Natashquan to Blanc-Sablon. The following summer, he set off to explore the landscapes of the American East Coast and Manhattan, which he instinctively photographed in documentary style. In 1984, he perfected his skills by attending a series of workshops offered by Robert Fournier, from whom he learned to broaden his «zone system» technique and was introduced to the «maître» philosophy, strongly inspired by photographers of the American West such as Minor White and Ansel Adams.
